The Sanità district, Naples' historic neighborhood, is a must-see for first-time visitors and those who want to experience the city's essence.
With its new guided tour, Insolitaguida Napoli takes you on a discovery of one of the city's liveliest areas. Strolling through popular alleys, amid the colorful clotheslines, you'll admire murals dedicated to Totò and Maradona, amid the splendor of the baroque squares and churches, as well as two of the greatest masterpieces of Neapolitan Baroque: Palazzo Sanfelice and Palazzo dello Spagnolo, which have often been filmed.
At the start you can taste a real Neapolitan coffee with the 3 "C" and then the most famous dessert of Naples: the Poppella snowflake.

The tour will begin at Porta San Gennaro, the symbolic gateway to the Rione Sanità. We'll then wander through the popular alleys, amid the colors of drying laundry and the vibrant market of Borgo dei Vergini. You'll admire the murals dedicated to Totò and Maradona amidst the splendor of the baroque squares and churches. We'll visit two of the greatest masterpieces of Neapolitan Baroque: Palazzo Sanfelice and Palazzo dello Spagnolo, which have often been film sets.
Before departing, we'll recharge with a delicious Neapolitan coffee, and along the way, we'll stop to sample the famous snowflake at the pastry shop where it was created!
We'll walk along "the alley of culture," where a peaceful revolution began with books, until we reach the street where Totò, the prince of laughter, was born.
